The website’s design endeavoured to be a comprehensive digital platform for the Royal College of Art’s Curating Contemporary Art (CCA) Inspire programme. A clean design with an image-led presentation of student work, exhibitions, events and an online community.

A restrained, grid-based layout, subtle textured backgrounds, understated typography and bright yellow accents create a consistent visual identity across a large collection of page types. The emphasis is on making a broad range of content accessible and organised, rather than pursuing a highly minimal or purely editorial aesthetic.

The homepage takes a more experimental approach for using an interactive circular menu for the main promo items.This creates a more immersive, expressive contrast to the structured inner pages.

Its design prioritises content organisation, accessibility and consistency, while allowing the art and photography to provide most of the visual personality.
